Summary of Experience

Thirty-seven years of flat rolling operations and engineering experience having commissioned and operated a 5 stand Tandem cold mill, and a 7 stand hot mill. Both of these projects were state of the art, and have been critical facilities to maintain Dofasco as a leader in flat rolling. Recently completed a Ph.D. in Mechanical engineering to define the scientific conditions that cause rolled in scale in the hot mill.

Dofasco Inc, Hamilton, Canada, 33 years -Various positions in operations and technology, leading to Manager of Flat Rolling Technology

Hatch, Mississauga, Canada, 4 years -Consultant Engineer. Working on feasibility and strategy studies, conceptual engineering, and design of Iron and Steel Rolling facilities. Other projects include operational assistance, due diligence, energy audits and training of Engineers in rolling fundamentals.
